Government Polytechnic, Jansath, Muzaffarnagar is committed for producing generation of Diploma Holders who become the leading technically qualified professionals in all areas of society & industry.

This is an AICTE  approved government institute for Diploma course. It is affiliated to Board of Technical education, Lucknow.  The institute is situated in Jatwada village of nagar Panchyat Jansath in Muzaffarnagar district, uttar Pradesh. The institute is about 28 km from Muzaffarnagar.

The institute is established in the 2018-19 and currently running at government polytechnic  Saharanpur.

Muzaffarnagar was founded in 1633 by the son of a mughal commander Sayyid Huzaffar Khan during the reign of Shah Jahan. Huzaffar is popularly known as “The Sugar Bowl of India.” The economy of the district is mainly based on agriculture paper & steel industries Muzaffarnagar is now part of National capital Region.
